To help the U.S. Army Recruiting Command celebrate the Army's 225th anniversary, events promoting the Army were conducted in 16 Major League Baseball parks. The centerpiece was New York Yankee Stadium where the Army Golden Knights parachute team landed in centerfield and delivered the first-pitch ball to an Army general on the pitcher’s mound. Earlier that morning, a birthday cake in the shape of a full-size Army Humvee was unveiled in Times Square, securing coverage on all 3 networks.
