Len began his career in PR, crafting issue-centric leadership initiatives for corporate brands
e.g., family values (Mass Mutual), home ownership (Whirlpool), sustainable forestry (International Paper) and bio-ethics (Novo Nordisk). Most famously, he helped arrange a White House event where Mr. Potato Head (Hasbro) gave up smoking and surrendered his pipe to U.S. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop.
He pioneered the use of the Internet to reach corporate stakeholders and influentials.
He shepherded the first-ever web sites for Volvo, MCI and Philips Electronics, bought the
first-ever banner ads at Yahoo!, helped Victoria’s Secret host its first online fashion show and counseled Merrill Lynch on the internal and external roll outs of its first digital services.
He earned his Ph.D. at Columbia University.
