Gregg Dearth has held senior management positions in several major U.S. ad agencies, including Chief Creative Officer of Marsteller New York (a Young & Rubicam company), Executive Creative Director of BBDO South, Ketchum Pittsburgh and Cunningham & Walsh Chicago.
His creative work for Delta Air Lines is in the Advertising Hall of Fame. He has led teams responsible for advertising, public relations and marketing on behalf of Wachovia, LG, Heinz, PNC, Peregrine Systems, United Airlines, Embraer, WBBM-TV, Hoechst Marion Roussel, NEC and many other major companies. Gregg created the first sweepstakes on the Internet, for the third commercial site—enews.com.
This led to the first real demographic data on Internet users, and some of the first advertising revenue ever generated from the Internet. He has participated in 4 starts ups, including raising VC funding and launching a successful web-based lead generation business. He holds an AB from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
