Dennis Goettsch has over 28 years of experience in foodservice marketing. He began his career in product management at Oscar Mayer Foods managing both the Louis Rich and Oscar Mayer brands. He directed the marketing efforts for the Foodservice Group at Hormel Foods for the past 23 years with his most recent position being Vice President of Marketing.
In his role at Hormel Dennis provided the strategic direction and financial oversight for this business unit delivering a fourfold increase in sales and ninefold increase in profits since its inception. He directed all aspects of marketing including, but not limited to, new product development, pricing, advertising, promotion, and market research. Additionally he developed and managed the annual sales incentive plan.
Other key accomplishments beyond the financial performance were the development of an industry first cooperative program with The Culinary Institute of America as well as partnership symposiums with the National Association of College & University Foodservice, Association of Healthcare Foodservice, and Foodservice Director magazine.
Dennis was educated at Cornell College, the University of Iowa, and Carlson School of Business.
