Dennis is a seasoned public relations specialist; twenty+ years with international agencies, ten years corporate marketing/communications with a global consulting firm, and five years editor of a weekly trade newspaper.
Most recently, he was marketing & communications manager at Accenture. Roles included: communications manager for the worldwide Human Resources and Marketing functions; media liaison between the U.S. marketing and public affairs functions; and local external communications manager for the New York, Boston, Hartford and Albany offices.
Before that, Dennis spent 17 years with Burson-Marsteller and Cohn & Wolfe (both PR entities of Y&R Inc.) where his clients included MetLife, The U.S. Army, Arm & Hammer Baking Soda and Philip Morris, among others. His work covered areas such as corporate and brand positioning, consumer media, issues management and events. He also spent five years each with Howard Rubenstein Associates, where he managed public relations initiatives for major NYC commercial and real estate entities such as Helmsley-Spear and the Associated Builders of Greater NY; and as editor of New York Construction News, where he managed all editorial components. He holds a BS Degree in Public Relations/Journalism from Syracuse University’s Utica College.
